Sad thing is, if it isn't Keane, and judging by some reactions, either McCann or Neil will be on a hiding to nothing straight away. At this stage, Keane is..... well Keane, the other two I mentioned "safe".

We shall see. it is what it is, but let's not start on the Club and board just yet.

I'd take Neil over McCann if it was a straight choice. My Posh supporting mates don't speak highly of McCann's tenure there at all. Don't think a lot Hull fans liked him either despite a promotion.

I just think Saturday killed everyone's enthusiasm off tbh. If we'd not lost and had Speakmans interview. People would be a lot more confident.
I think Sat brought more issues out in the open around the running of the club. Having no decent first team or u23 coach avail to setup team, just a one to one tactical coach make you wonder how they are actually running the club.

One other thing - I keep seeing everywhere I look that we are “taking our time”. As if Keane is just sitting there waiting for us.

surely it’s much more likely that the delay is due to him having to sort stuff out (like his team)

I still reckon keane gets announced this evening
Hope to god you're right.

Edwards agrees with me. Haven’t decided how that makes me feel yet

Good....looks like Keane's the one and the hold up appears to be necessary in order to get him for whatever reason which will hopefully become apparent later today after he's signed on the dotted line.

Here's the reality that the next manager has to confront: Chances of automatic promotion (barring a miracle) = 0%. Chances of getting to play-offs, say, 90%. Chances of winning the play-offs = 25%. So, chances of promotion = 22.5%. That is, more likely than not you take at least some of the blame, and all of the hassle, for another season in league one. On the up-side, if you do get promoted, you're a hero (until August rolls around). So, you have to ask yourself, "do you feel lucky?" Well, do you, Keane?

I do not think playoffs are 90% sure like. We're dropping like a stone, in ****e form, and could easily end up outside of the playoffs by this weekend.

On the other hand we win most and go up automatically . we play a lot of top teams and they also play each other
