I know he has a reputation for building a dogged defence and having teams that take advantage of counter attacks/quick transitions, but Simeone has spent a lot of money on attacking players over the years and not many of them have been successful. I do wonder if he’s capable of coaching attacking patterns when his side are expected to dominate the ball. Barcelona have been fairly comfortable since going down to 10 men. Atletico have monopolised the ball but don’t seem to know how to break Barca down.
Martin Keown is a natural commentator. Just suggested Nottm Forest fans must feel like they got on a "Travel Machine" to be doing so well.
Brennan Johnson looks a good player; only 20, was on loan at Lincoln last season. Played for England at various age levels but then defected to Wales.
Can see why a number of PL clubs are interested in Djed Spence. Looks a quality player. Only 21, as well. Not sure what happened previously, but I can’t see why Middlesbrough loaned him out.
Blinding result for Boreham Wood, they haven't conceded a single goal in the FA Cup this season, incredible. Magic of the cup well in motion today.
Boreham Wood only the 10th non league team to reach the 5th Round since WWII. Kidderminster should have been the 10th.
The BBC couldn't be bothered to have a page up for that match Apparently the magic of the cup only counts if Premier League teams are involved...
