Spence and Johnson linking up in the build up to Forest's goal there. They seem to have a good understanding down that right hand side for Forest, two very good up and coming players. I think both will be in the Premier League either next season or the year after. As I type, Johnson's just scored their second!
It looks like Rodgers still hasn’t learned his lesson. Leicester concede a goal to go 1-0 down and then concede again literally seconds later. How does this keep happening? On a separate note, Barcelona winning 4-1 against Atletico Madrid. 38 year old Dani Alves scored a lovely goal just now for the 4th. Atletico look like a shadow of the team they were last year. Terrible title defence. I know Man United aren’t great either, but I’d fancy them to get past this dreadful Atletico side.
What I mean is how has he still not learned his lesson yet? I don’t understand why he’s so incapable of organising a defence. It’s cost them so many times.
Some managers just can't do it. He should bring in somebody else who can. That might take a bit of self-evaluation and hurt his ego though, so he won't do it. He's a good manager. He's clearly got some flaws and they're currently being exposed. Will Leicester give him enough time to sort it all out?
Steve Cooper the next Potter? Doesn't have the history of what Potter done with Ostersunds but looking like another manager who favours good coaching and progressive football, also capable of extracting more out of players. It's nice to see more of these managers too. Yet again Steve Bruce walks into another job, just like how over the years we've seen Pardew, Warnock and co do so too. Good to get some fresh, young British managers who seemingly have big futures ahead of them in management and who neutral fans can appreciate for their footballing philosophies.
Is it just me or have a lot of the goals against the Prem teams in the FA Cup been set-pieces? A lot of the top-flight clubs seem to be **** at them, including us.
Barcelona down to 10 men. Dani Alves made a stupid challenge on Carrasco. Studs up from behind on his calf. Barca players surrounding the referee complaining it was after the whistle went, as offside flag went up late, but really, that shouldn’t matter. Idiotic attempt at a challenge.
Frenkie de Jong with a dangerous challenge now on Koke they’re losing their heads. Only got a yellow.
Not sure what's more impressive, the goal or the commentary. Arabic commentary is up there with the South Korean we see for Son, passionate and brilliant, even if I have zero clue what they're saying
