I suspect that Coventry fans may well have found a way to buy tickets in the non-away blocks. They sold their allocation very quickly after all.Fantastic that we've sold out. Even at discounted prices I was expecting a crowd of 22k or so max.

True but they are very much optional extras. I do think £6 for a **** beer or burger is very steep, but if i cared that much I just wouldn't pay it.Absolutely, shame I can't come over. It's not just the ticket price there's the pies and pints and other merchandise too.
The price and quality of the concourse catering have often been criticised certainly room for improvement. Something for the new owners to take on?True but they are very much optional extras. I do think £6 for a **** beer or burger is very steep, but if i cared that much I just wouldn't pay it.
Main thing is not pricing out parents bringing their young kids or teenagers going with their mates.
For a one club city as big as Southampton, no other premier league side within 50+ miles, we should be selling out 28k home tickets every week. Get the youth of today into it and they will be fans for life.

Beers are £5 or £4.50 for ST holders. Not exactly extortionate. I don't think the food is too badly priced either..True but they are very much optional extras. I do think £6 for a **** beer or burger is very steep, but if i cared that much I just wouldn't pay it.

I used to have a wine (lol wine not whine before you all say it) or two outside because the crap inside for £5 was so rough that i needed something to take the edge off. Couple that with the fact that at halftime they only have 15 mins to sell and are soooooooooooooooooo slooooooooooow that i never got my drink until after kick off.
Since October I have given up all alcohol so it isn't an issue, and now all I get is a coffee before the game and that is it. Likewise with food, forget it - over priced and crap.
The issue is that it is rented out to an events company, so Saints don't make any extra money if they sell twice or half as much. Take it back in house, train your staff to actually serve people in under 2 mins and you will make more money and have happier customers. In fact it is so simple to do that they won't do it.
Rant about catering over.![]()

If we had kept those 3 in the team in that form, we would've had a few more European tours. You must log in or register to see media
There certainly will be, my Cov ST friend says there are loads being sold on their forums at a premium price for the Saints bit of the ground. Might get livelyI suspect that Coventry fans may well have found a way to buy tickets in the non-away blocks. They sold their allocation very quickly after all.
