Nobody calmer than an old head patiently explaining footballing concepts to those lacking in an understanding of the beautiful game, Ponky ... I see it as vocational as well as educational and I quite enjoy it ... now if you want to go and play out on your bike for a bit, I'll continue later if you want? <cheers>

Tracking back is a coaching issue Flossy. The manager instructs the players to have certain roles in a team that include, especially for midfield players, both attacking and defending. If they aren't doing that, then that's a coaching issue. If it's a player attitude issue, then again, it's something that needs to be picked up in training and coaching.

Both Pogba and Bruno have demonstrated that, when coached right, they are world class players. That's just a fact Flos. I'm not saying Van De Beek isn't a decent player, but he's yet to set it alight at the very top level.

Man Utd have a clutch of extremely talented players, but they aren't being coached right. Ole and Ragnips aren't up to the task.

Your assessment that it's just down to ego is an oversimplification. Even Ronaldo gets hooked at that club and he's got an ego almost as big as yours <ok>

Now where did I say it was ALL down to ego Ponky ?

Nice essay btw would read again ...I enjoy a good fiction.

The point I was originally making was that in another team, VDB would have got more starting opportunities with the incumbents performing as poorly as United's were ... now get your cycle clips on, check your stabilizers aren't loose, don't pedal too fast .. and make sure you are back in plenty of time for your tea ... good lad ... it's alphabetti spaghetti ... your favourite <cheers>

You said it was down to the egos at Utd and due to that, Ole didn’t have the bottle to start him ahead of Pogba and Bruno.

Nice backtracking though flossy <laugh>

Now if you’d have understood what you were being told in the first place instead of dismissing it as fiction, you wouldn’t be here getting schooled <ok>

And if they have kids or know any midget kids who need work they can be the stabalisers.

Or hire like 10 really obese people to walk on all day

Like a chain thing, one lays down then the rest run from the back to continue your path.

Could do it as a fitness promotion for virgin active.

Apart from the CL he was awful for Pochettino throughout 2019 until he was sacked.

Played well for Maureen for the first month then did nothing.

Did nothing under Mason.

Was not a first choice under Nuno.

Played a good game v Liverpool for Conte but was not a regular.

Hasn't been in an England squad in well over 2 years.

That's 6 managers.

Spurs fans liked the memories but were tired of waiting for him to "find his form".

Seems pundits know best though.

Maybe being 'spursy' rubbed off on him. Sure being at everton will finally break him
