Would imagine likes of Stewart being inspired by someone like Ferguson. Personally I wouldn't be against an appointment like that. Something a bit different to the usual run of the mill appointments like the last two.
My initial thought when I read that twitter rumour in Ferguson was that it isn't very likely that he fits what the club are looking for, no idea what his style it like as a coach/Manager etc but more the hard nut bit.
Think that's the end of the JD pursuit myself, can't see him back with us. Thought it was going to be the case before today as it was taking too long to announce.
Ferguson I wouldn't be against if he has a good reputation as a coach. Along the same lines and don't think he's done much since leaving Arsenal, but Steve Bould? Been here before so knows the club and was highly thought of at Arsenal.
He wouldn't ****ing listen though would he. He didn't give Winchester a chance with a few of them, kept trying to do the same thing and it wasn't working. Their keeper was the same. He put about half a dozen into touch in the first half.
