We had Stewart, Dajaku, Gooch, Neil, on the halfway line yesterday ...

... they stood and watched while Doyle passed to Hoffman who passed to Batth who passed to Doyle.

Eventually one would panic and launch it into touch ...

... just put Stewart wide, get Hoffman to hit it to him and pull their big number five out of position.

FFS, it was excruciating.
After the first 5 mins I was shouting at Hoffman to just hit the halfway line with a few of his kicks. I was in the back row of the upper tier so he probably couldn't hear me. <laugh>

Well done KLD. I thought I was in two minds about LJ.
But now I’m not so sure. :1980_boogie_down:

Yeah didn’t know Farke had gone to Krosnadar, wealthy club so no chance be massive compen.

Really struggling for ideas here, looking at Championship thinking ‘who plays good football’ and thoughts were ‘Forest, QPR, Fulham’.

Obviously Silva at Fulham is a no chance. Copper? Hmm tough done well 2 jobs straight, then I land on Warburton at QPR.

Didn’t he do this whole setup thing we have at Brentford and lay a massive platform for where they now are?

Pure just me thinking out loud of course. There’s logic in the last 2.

I think he will be a decent manager tbh. I just can't ****ing stand the prick.
Same !! From the former pro’s in coaching list, I’d go for Carrick. Good connections at Tottenham and Man Utd, recent experience with first team coaching and management. Dark side I know but links to the north east. A tactically aware footballer who reads the game well.

No idea who will take over. Might just be a foreign manager off everyone’s radar except Kyril and his team. Wasn’t poyet a shoe in just before Johnson. Wonder if they would re visit that. Whoever it is we will get behind him. Good luck Lee wherever you end up. It just hasn’t worked out here for you.

I think KLD had to act as Johnson had clearly lost a lot of the fan base. The timing is bad though at this point in the window. Hopefully it won't interfere with any remaining transfer business we have to do. We need that defensive midfielder in pronto. Otherwise, whoever comes in still has the same problems to deal with as Johnson- namely finding the right balance from a squad overstocked with wingers but no defensive midfielders and only one senior centre forward.

Most of us will. Unfortunately we appear to have the same amount of negative bell ends the same as other clubs who's only pleasure is to moan.

Good old Sunderland, the 3rd division equivalent of Watford when it comes to sacking managers. And you wonder why you don’t progress…. Enjoy another year in the wilderness,
Idiot, the year Watford got promoted they used four managers, yes four

With it being dead-line day tomorrow could we really sign players without them knowing who they'd be playing under? Will we have someone appointed immediately? I ain't got a clue.

It’s just such a bizarre one. Manager of the month in December, gone in January. Backed all the way through the transfer window and gone a day or two before it shuts. Wycombe away, Accrington away, these fine margins summarise modern football and everything I hate about it. I’m not gonna stick my neck out and say he would have got us up or not, but managers are rarely given any time when it goes tits up. Still adamant that if broadhead didn’t get crocked in the arsenal game things would be different.
And if he'd only stuck with 3 at the back...
