A great day all around, very good performance, the atmosphere was superb, 3 points and a clean sheet, what's not to like? I was very impressed with Shota and his involvement in the whole game reminded me a bit like Conte on the touchline.
He certainly had the whole team playing further up the pitch, which in the first half pressurised Swansea and they couldn't get to grips with it. They did better in the 2nd half, and we started to get a bit deep, but managed to see the half out unscathed.
Fleming was excellent, KLP and Honeyman instrumental in all things good about the performance. The back 3 solid again, and Smallwood has really proved me wrong, he certainly can handle the Championship, and had another very good game. Baxter, even though not that busy, made one or two really good important saves.
Well, after a whirlwind week, great to see many stay away back, the first game under Shota couldn't have done much better. I thought his post-match comments were interesting, when asked what he thought of KLP performance, he said he needs and can get better, much better. KLP can learn a lot from this guy, as long as he sticks around.
