Unlikely to start many, agreed, but he's the quality they'd have on the bench to sub on.
TWT. As always.
Maybe Spurs or WHU will cough up the fee and loan him to Brentford.
Who knows....?

If KLP wants to move and he gets his move then I don't want him loaned back to us.If another Not606 board buys me for a squllion £ and then loans me back here, I’ll be honest I not going to give a **** about you lot.
Towards the end of my loan you’ll definitely see a dip in the quality of my posts as I get ready to move my literary nuggets to somewhere more befitting
…I move next week

If he wanted a move then basically he doesn't give a monkey's chuff about us.
Its put a bad taste in my mouth.

Its City's business yes.'kinell mate it's just business. Nowt personal.
I think you're completely overlooking the FACT that premier league teams are willing to pay £8 figures for an unproven 20 year old. Whether you think that's a fact or not is irrelevant as Brentford wouldn't pay 8 figures for a player they didn't think would be good enough straight away. Kids got talent and shows it most games in a team full of league 1 quality players bar a very small few. If he was in the Fulham side he'd have double the amount of goals and assists he currently has.A FACT.

I wasn't happy the way they dealt with McCann leaving and not happy about this.
I would like to know why he suddenly wants to go.
He's not good enough for the PL yet.
He has plenty of years to get bumper deals.
I'm gutted because he's a Hull lad playing for his home city club.
If City replace Brentford in the PL then he will regret moving.
Let's hope he has regrets.
Brentford were always going to bid for him after Brennan Johnson move was off the cards it's complete speculation that he wants to move, his agent probably wants him to move and will perceive it to be him that wants it like he did last january. Its City's business yes.

God forbid it happens but he may get career ending injury what then has he earned enough to last him and family for years to come.
They absolutely would pay 8 figures for a player who isn't good enough right away, West Ham paid 20m for Bowen who they didn't think was good enough right away. West Ham have spent 33m on Vlasic who is just a bench player for them.
Brentford know now they'll be a PL club next season, they're able to start trying to get players in early that may well be far more expensive next Summer.
This was lazy whataboutism when PLT used it and it's lazy whataboutism now.
Bowen could have tried to force a move through when he was 21 'in case of a serious injury' but didn't.
Does not mean he is the same does it, and Bowen is not here now is he.

Bowen had a remarkable work ethic. Knew that credit in the bank (so to say) would get him further.
I'm not sure KLP has been as well advised.
No but Bowen stayed for an additional two seasons and developed substantially before moving, and he's far better for it.
No player should play their career thinking they'll be hit by a bus tomorrow or they'll make some really bad decisions.
I think attitudes and character are very different too.
