Unfortunately, in the US, Biden hasn’t been the great man they thought he would be. I can honestly see someone of Trumps ilk, if not Trump himself, have a great chance next time.
I do agree though, Trump going was a massive step away from ‘personality politics’ and the sooner we get rid of our clown the better.

i only think Trump will run if he knows he will win. His ego wont be able to take another loss.
Personally I reckon it will be someone else without all the baggage.
Biden has been a disaster and the vice President is hugely disliked. They will be gone and the Republicans will win.

Biden has been no great shakes, more a bog standard grade c president. Do they deserve better? Yes, could they do worse, absolutely. There are a few silly personal smears from areas of the media, but at least it’s called way down and he’s not making an arse of himself on social media.

One thing that pisses me off about the whole partygate bollocks is that if it’s what toppled him, good, but it really should have been something such as the contracts given, how the public haven’t rioted on that is beyond me.

It’s an odd one tbf and used by a lot of those who are more interested into promoting national exceptionalism. Usually fairly easy to spot as in the same breathe they state why their nation is so good they justify it by telling you how **** another nation is.

There's a huge difference between the two, but if one says one is a patriot, many many people simply hear Nationalist.

Trouble is, if an Englishman says he's patriotic, he's labelled a Nationalist.
If a Scotsman or Welshman says it, he's lauded.

I agree there’s a difference the issue is that nationalists think they are patriots. It’s sad when remembrance days get polluted by people trying to show they remember more than others.

I will emphasise this is some, a small proportion of people that do this not the majority.

Do you not think that Biden is showing some form of cognitive disorder ? I don’t say that with any ill will or malice……I do find it rather sad to be honest as I find dementia heartbreaking.

I was more thinking a person who actually considers themselves Patriotic can in fact be Nationalistic…..without actually realising it.

I get that because the media are presenting you with people that will get your back up. Nothing wrong with middle class people wanting to make a change though. I'm patriotic in some ways I guess (never more so than watching the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony), but mostly I'm embarrassed by overly patriotic people, of any nationality.
