Wouldn't surprise me if he's been in training today. Put over the road that is one signing that excites me, especially after the success of the Pritchard move. Gives PR a proper home for (probably) 18 months so he can settle down and just worry about football, rather than him jumping from club to club

thing that always gets me in the transfer window waffle are the 'is he any good' or the 'he's crap, hope we don't get him' kind of posts...fact is, until a player settles in a team no one knows exactly how good/bad he might be.

probably a bit of an extreme example would be our own SKP, no one had really heard of him and he hardly had any records and was certainly not a prolific goal scorer at the time, then you have the likes of flo and rodwell, i just think we could all save ourselves a lot of chew and worry and just leave it to the club to hopefully get it right...they seem to be taking quite a definite stance regarding transfers now and not just buying a player to appease the fans.

I'd be amazed if we don't. Likely the Defoe option has just come out of the blue and possibly on top of any other business we were planning to do

Some of the chat over the road on the possible JD incoming is bizarre at best. The usual suspects all involved.......some insisting LJ is against the deal because of JD coaching involvement,others insisting JD doesn't even want a coaching role. That twat Vauxie with his "knaars and sineing"... winding everyone up......glad I cancelled my membership over there. When I joined over 15 years ago,it was a fun place to be....now....the lunatics have taken over.
I suppose I go on there looking for back up info to that which we get on here.....more fool me.

Amazed anyone looks at that place. I got a message the other night to see I was brought to all night in a thread , getting abuse of the usual suspects. I literally don't even have an account or look at the place anymore. Sad, rancid melts. Shame as some topper posters over there too.
