The Botman stuff is/was legit - the Krull thing was bollox and the Jones thing was bollox. We were having a laugh to see if newsnow or Twitter ITK's reposted it for a giggle.
The thing about Trippier/Woods agent is true - seems to be pushing clients galore - notice we've been linked with that Bremner lad from Torino - He's one of their's too.
Also linked with a number of players from Botman's agency too.
The whole teams wanting to find replacements thing is legit.

I reckon this whole concept is so alien to Newcastle, plus we've just had no time to implement a new structure, that it's causing confusion and delays. We have just never been the ones to knock over the first domino. We're usually just with the bottom feeders, waiting for scraps to fall. Hence why I think there's a lack of preparedness ahead of this window and it's all felt a bit scrappy.

Everywhere you look for stuff on Hammond, it's ****ing awful. I think you can throw Nickson into that as well, mind, I find it astonishing his role is literally head of recruitment, we recruited one player (twice) in 2021 and there's been absolutely nothing happening this window of note.
I think 1st Feb, Nickson and Hammond will be no longer associated and the owners will turn their attention to getting the main man in situ.
You don't know who was on their lists though.only what the clubs got . Now they can get judged better
He's not well thought of by Celtic fans - no idea what those in power think of him but I think I remember my mate saying he left under a bit of a cloud.
That's the thing, no club (other than us during Ashley's tenure) have just 1 player per position on a list. Downie even said it was a long list rather than a shortlist. The AFCON without a doubt makes things harder this Jan due to players missing backup's etc so clubs need to line up replacements.
It's just short sighted when people blamed carr and now it's nixon.
They provided lists and Charnley didn't cough up the required funds for the ones at the top or even the middle of those lists.
The time to judge is now.
Nixon's rep has taking a battering due to the Joelinton transfer - no other reason other than people expected him to score 2 goals a game due to his transfer fee. Then realised he was utter dogshit at finishing.
Diego Carlos is pushing for the move apparently.

Like I say he'll have had other names on the list and nufc couldn't get them and Joelinton is actually a very good footballer.. He could yet score goals in the right team..
I'm not disagreeing with you on that with regards Joelinton I'm saying why Nixon is getting the treatment he is in my opinion.
