Don't think that goes live until the summer though. So I think our gazumping is trying to persuade Leipzig to sell now for bigger fee, and then try to persuade Haidara we will survive. Looks longer than the longest shot in history. But if you don't buy a ticket...

I was thinking about this too. Surely players would be more amenable if we said we'd either loan them to a top club should we go down, or give them a release clause for the exact fee we paid? I suppose the issue with the latter is we will be overpaying a la Wood.

Would rather just chuck £25m a piece at both Kamara and Fofana. paying the teams way more than they were expecting, making other clubs baulk at the offer and sweep them up.

I think we may be having to rethink our big targets. Its clear players don't want to come here which is understandable as we look hot favourites for the drop. I don't think we will see any of the likes of Haidara, Kamara etc. I just think money gets you so far, but players won't take risks the size we are asking.

Aye and a World Cup year,mid-table and safe selling a dream you have a chance,Stoke on a Tuesday night in the Chamionship and trying to get into the French squad not so much.

Plays for Lens - central midfielder - tearing up Ligue 1 this year.

Was on City's books a couple of years and had a loan at Fulham.

P.S - I mean the **** french Ligue 1 not the utter utter utter utter **** League one that the mackems play in and the superb Cambridge Utd play in <whistle>

To be fair the area's that he needs to address is everywhere. Out of them - striker was required this week and as much as I like the Trippier signing it certainly wasn't as high up the list as CB's and CM's.

True but I've been saying we need cms for a decade and every single time they prioritise defenders and attackers.

It's pissing me off... That bald **** will be out there hiding again and causing problems for the cbs when he's stepping on their toes for a good while yet a fear

He picked it up before 31st December and before our 19th game finished taking him to 5 yellows. May be wrong as I've had a ****ter today so far on the squad registration but we were asking if he would miss the cup game last week.
 
We're gonna have to hurry our arses up if we're getting both Sarr and Dennis over the line for Saturday like :emoticon-0140-rofl:

A decade ago we had Cabaye and Tiote tearing it up in CM during the season we finished 5th. We had Williamson, Taylor or Perch as the options to partner Colo at the back... Shouldve prioritised CB then. <laugh>
