I would take Bonne on a contract mind. He is a quality player. He can play both ways up front, he can knock defenders about with his strength, or he can run in behind. He is a good finisher as well. I would be really excited by him, whether from the bench or as a partner / alternative for Stewart.
I'm surprised nobody seems interested in Scott Twine at MK Dons. 11 goals and 7 assists as an attacking midfielder and only 22. Never seen him play but the stats look good.
Would take hime like a shot. MK have a really good side. One of the things I have commented in is Stewart doesnt have assists which is either odd or a worry. Him or Bonne would be a great statememt.
Putting 2+2 together with what they’ve put about Roberts tonight with what the french media have said you’d think there should be something to it, fingers crossed anyway
I once had a girlfriend who asked me to go to Barrow to meet her family. On the drive up she was saying how she'd like to move back there one day ... ... the drive back was very quiet and uncomfortable
Not quite a new signing but it feels like one ... "Arbenit Xhemajli can be considered part of Sunderland's first team squad again after his 15-month injury absence, says Lee Johnson."
It's a long time for the lad. Moving to a new club, new country and getting an injury like that so quickly must have been difficult for him but hopefully he has the character to come back and be a big part of the team.
If he shows the promise that he did when he first arrived, he should turn out to be a great addition to the squad. Welcome back Arby!
Waiting for @Smug in Boots to work The French Connection for info. Perhaps he could give Helen of Troyes a buzz (or even a call)?
Funnily enough I've been doing just that mate. I'm also on the L'Equipe App every day looking for updates. The latest I heard is that he's 'clearing his desk' but that could mean he's going back to City in order to tie things up ... ... but doesn't automatically mean he's coming here. I think he will though, being at the Sheff Wed game would've helped make his mind up.
