They are on a bad run so confidence is low. Manager is under pressure. All ingredients for a Cup upset. Does McCann have the tactical nous to come up with a game plan to win the game?
What is Everton’s weakness City need to exploit ?
Change of formation needed?
If Acun is there then a lot of players are playing for their futures , he will not be happy if City get walloped live on BBC1!!!

They were very disorganised against Brighton, but pretty sure Calvin - Lewin will be playing as he needs games to get his match fitness up after his layoff.

Gordon their young midfielder looks lively, got their 2 goals at the weekend.

Raffa's job will be on the if they get beaten, oh for the chance of a rendition of "Sacked In The Morning"
( Not gonna happen, 0-5 Toffees)

1st= Ripple their onion bag more than they ripple ours...
2nd= Play 10 behind the ball and win on pens...Its worked in the past. eg when Red Star Belgrade played Marseille in the 1991 European Cup final and played for pens from the off.
3rd= Pray they have an off day.

I know some have me down as being negative ... which I sometimes am ... but I really do fear the worst on this one.
If we set up and continue anything like we did on Saturday, we will get absolutely mullered by them.
Bowler tore us a new one. They will have a team full of players as good and better than him. They might not be in the best of form, but they are still a decent established PL side, who managed to beat Arsenal and draw with Chelsea last month.
McCann has to come up with a plan to cope with them, and I have little confidence he will.
3 5 2 probably needs to change to 5 3 2 or even 5 4 1, but do we even have the players available to do that?
I really hope we don't get embarrassed on what should be a big day for the club.

Will McCann still be in charge for that game?

Does it really matter.....?... to my mind, we have one priority at the moment... and cup ticket revenue isn't one of them, or injuries. Sure, if its Acuns first game they will want to put on a performance, but a cup run might not do us any favours at all...

I think Everton will have their focus clearly on the league and maintaining their history of mid-table mediocrity.

Everton have been in the top flight longer than I've been alive, and I was born in 1956.

Losing doesn't particularly. Getting mullered does. .

Get into 'em.

F* k' em up.

exactly, thats what City need to do, but will they ?
If we sit back & let Everton pass the ball around we will get stuffed big time
Put them on the backfoot right from the start, put some strong tackles in & let them know City are well up for it!!!!!
