Hmm, BWM pulled out of F1 a few years ago cos they thought it was a load of bollocks and a waste of money for the cars they made and sold.
Mercedes did have a poor reputation for their cars and stayed in F1 to polish up their image and to win. I wonder what they will think about that after being shafted by the stewards!
Not that it matters much, but F1 have lost another fan.
After a safety car is the idea to let all lapped cars past. then why only let the 5 between Hamilton and Verstappen to pass and not the others as this would have led to the race finishing under the safety car.

I would wrap in and just leave a void in the "sport". You have no hope when officials and not drivers are controlling who wins. I am not a massive LH fan but he led that race for almost all of it to be cheated at the death.
Was 5 cars that passed mate, 4 cars that had been passed by Lewis before the safety car came out, stinks to the high heaven. Hamilton never looked in trouble the whole race, stewards a massive influence in that championship. Also why were the other lapped cars not allowed to pass, that would've taken the whole last lap to do
was very few problems when Bernie was in charge and experienced ex f1 drivers like Damon Hill Jonny Herbert and a good few other were stewards

depends on the new rules mate and how far Red Bull catch up Adrian Newey is a phenomenal designer, but Hamiltons desire will burn through i think
That's the word, desire. Hamilton has loads of it. Knew what he had to do today to win that race and done it, stewards and race director dictated who actually won it. It'll go down in history as champion verstappen 2021 but for me the last 4 races shows what Hamilton is made of.
It sort of reminds me of when Damon Hill only needed a few points to win the world championship, and M Schumacher bashed his suspension and instead of retiring waited for Hill to catch up and hit him into the barriers to take the world title, next year at the British GP , MS crashed and suspension went through his leg and put him out for ages
Remember that 1 as well mate, took him out big style and knew what he was doing. As I said before mate I don't think this race has finished, merc are putting a case together now with 2 protests

Its easy for horner to say "let them race, let them race on the last lap" he wouldn't be saying that if Hamilton was on fresher tyres
