I always thought that. But she invented a correcting fluid called Liquid Paper. She later sold it for around $50 million dollars which was a hell of a lot of money at the time.. It was quite a few years later that a German company started producing the same sort of product and called it Tipex, which is now a generic term for all similar products.
Info courtesy of someone in the pub years ago who put someone right when they mentioned Tipex and the connection to him.
I looked it up later but should have taken his word as he owned a company supplying stationery materials.<laugh>

In 1979 the average cost of a house was £13,500 (compared to around £260,000 now) and a pint of beer 46p. A decent new car was about £3,500 - £4,500. 50 million dollars bought a hell of a lot back then.<laugh>

A member of Il Divo, think they cancelled at bonus last month as well due to illness.

He had covid and had the vaccines as well.
