You think incorrectly. Now and again at the end of a post on my here I've used the phrase ' that is all'. In other words I wouldn't discuss something further, that way saves the four day multi-page you said no I never said blah blah blah guff. That is all. :emoticon-0100-smile

He did come out with some good stuff, but he was hugely negative to the extreme and really couldn't handle us doing well and people called him out on it and he didn't like that. To say he was bullied off the board is a little OTT

I find this such a tiresome view.

"X is negative. Hates it when we're doing well". It's obviously bollocks and just seems like a way to dismiss someone's complaints. It's been a cornerstone Allam defence argument for years.

There is a difference between having complaints etc when we really aren't doing well. But he just couldn't handle when things went well. He just tried and had to find something to be negative and whinge about constantly. As has been said previously, he did make some good arguments and points to debate, but he didn't seem to like people disagreeing and fighting back against him. He wasn't at all bullied off the site, he just didn't like people fighting back against him and his extreme negativity.

There was a fair bit of niggle,especially on Saturday afternoons on MDT's and I freely admit that I was involved personally in several spats with 'Quill'.There were several posters involved on a weekly basis,it was a bit of a running battle for a while and would pretty much ruin the thread.

To be honest and in my opinion, it was nothing different than any other spat that goes unchallenged on a daily basis on these threads.To now read after what? 8 or 9 months that 'Quill' was bullied off these threads,has come as a bit of a surprise.

It raises a couple of questions,given it's being labelled as bullying,as to why it was allowed to go on,why it wasn't called out as bullying back then and why it's took 8 or 9 months to be dredged up and specifically by a moderator?

If Quill is reading this then he knows only too well that he has as much right as anyone else to post on these forums.
