Steve loving reading all the nufc fans now blaming the players this week and saying they're below standard.

Which is it a managerial problem or the players?

Have you been unfair nufc fans?

Both.

Both have been pathetic.

It’s just we can get rid of the manager buy we are stuck with these players.

It’s true players deserve a lot of the **** that was thrown Bruce’s way mind.

On a different slant are you saying that Bruce was doing a better job that Howe?

Difference is at least they're now training on a regular basis like professionals compared to behaving like they're at a holiday camp. However the drop off in form from ASM is very alarming. Wilson's work rate has dropped and I honestly think Willock has just been dogshit since Feb but his goals plastered over it. I will however concede that once again Joelinton was great last night. Loved his effort, loved his enthusiasm, He was covering all positions.

Worried at why it took a ****ing red card for Howe to finally witness first hand that the cb pairing should be Fed and Schar. Worried it took a suspension to let Lewis have a crack and worried at how pissed I was as I thought Shelvey had one of his better nights.

No im saying the fans never gave Bruce the luxury of blaming the players

In fact and I can vault the crap out of people of necessary fans were saying this was the best squad any manger has ever had under Mike ashley.

Aye he's under the cosh looking at that. Football is funny though, if he gets a result tonight, he could bore a few points out of the next few and ease the pressure. Mind if he gets a heavy spanking then the atmosphere may be beyond toxic. I know I'm not his biggest fan with how he plays, but I think if you appoint him, you do so knowing full well what he is. So I think he deserves a bit of time. Plenty of talent in that squad.

The problem he has its that the talent are all injured and previous managers have bought **** like Iwobi

Nah you can't put it all down to injuries. They are underachieving with the squad they have. He's under the pump now. They've got some good players, but many are more suited to a more attacking brand of football.

Bullet dodged for us though on the flipside

Yes you can.
Imagine if we didn't have..... Er wait er.... **** it. In our case it doesn't matter whose missing.

Aye we don’t have good players.

But he has plenty who are fit. It just seems to have gone very wrong but I think some of it is like here, if the fans don’t take to you, it can be tricky. The whole atmosphere is similar to Bruce, target on him from the off. Everton fans were hoping for something more modern and exciting, FFP restricts what you can buy, they appoint an ex red, hey presto it gets ugly real quick after bad results.

Rafa can’t use excuses about injuries or FFP, he knew the situation on arrival in terms of what squad he had and what they could do to improve the squad. So he signed on knowing the parameters. If he does his usual and turns his guns on the owners again, he’ll end up persona non grata this time in terms of the PL. Plus it’s all a bit hollow as his predecessors managed to do better. Silva got bulleted for finishing 12th. Ancelloti took **** for their drop away to 10th. I would say in his defence it’s still very early. Under the pump is fine but he’s only 4 points off 10th which is where you’d expect them to end up roughly based on the last three seasons.

Im consistent. Bruce was **** and he coached the talent out of our players.

(I was being tongue in cheek) the dots at the end of my statement suggests I agree.

He’s a tit.

Looks like Rafa might be available soon.

If Rafas available soon, will that put pressure on Howe?

That run of Leicester, Liverpool, City and United could seal our fate in the league.

I think Howes job is totally safe. And the Everton job is seriously damaging rafas CV.

The Everton fans hate him.

Absolutely not. Firstly Howe is simply picking up the pieces from a disaster of a start. The real fans aren't daft, they can see that. Secondly I think the winds have changed. The fans have seen how entertaining football can again for the first time in 15 years. Suddenly we are having a go at teams, getting bodies forward, and the fans in the stadium are loving it. I've noticed at games already, Norwich was electric and the fans generally seem massively behind Howe. Finally I don't think the previous clamour for Benitez remains. The fans having seen a different way they prefer. I think the new owners seem smart and will have picked up on that. The people advising them will also know that football has moved on, you need a more modern style and the sooner you get it bedded into the club ethos the better.

Rafa would be a backwards step.

He was right for us at the time.

But not now. Get a couple of defenders in and a solid midfield destroyer who is technically good and the pressure is released on the back 4.

Then we pick up results.
