Fair enough. I try to get out of as many work things as possible too! I can't say I've ever experienced a friday night in Prague so I'll have to take your word for it!
I have a massive cold, been up since six and have been at college all day. All I want to do is stay in the warm instead of going out on the piss.
Not necessarily here, it's pretty subdued in comparison to Newcastle that's for damn sure haha. I'm just not really big on 'nights out' in that respect, prefer to go for some beers where I can talk to people or for a meal or something rather than blast my ears off with music I hate and tear my throat out trying to talk to somebody who is off their face on speed anyway.
i'm like that now if i go into Newcastle it's going for a meal and a few drinks in the afternoon till early evening if it's the local it's all night don't go into town much as it costs a fortune to get home if i can't cadge a lift so we normally go with a bunch of friends
I'm with you on that one like. I don't go for many meals, but given the choice of say a quiet pub with nice beer or a nightclub blasting any old ****e and pondwater beer, I'd go with the pub all day.
Yeah, makes for a better night all round I think, plenty good laughs and quality conversation, nice tasting beers and you dont wake up feeling like **** and remembering what a tit you made of yourself trying to dance or something haha.
I always get an awful feeling for days after a night out that I've done something ridiculously embarrassing like got my cock out in the middle of a night club or something. I'm currently sat drinking Zywiec, listening to Guided by Voices and I've had a curry with chilli naan from the takeaway. That's a pretty good friday night as far as I'm concerned!
Nice choice of beer! I'd join in but I've got a throat as rough as a badger's arse, hoping its not going to turn into a proper cold or a flu or something.
I used to absolutely love the Toffee Apple stuff, but then I had it in a bar in Preston and I was almost wretching. Some places have stopped selling the bottles and now seemingly put syrup in a glass and top it up with some kind of generic cider. It was like drinking treacle.
Just finished watching Game of Thrones. Don't usually like that sort of stuff but I quite enjoyed it, the obvious parallels to the war of the roses made it pretty interesting too. Anybody else watch it?
