Paddy Moloney, founder of the Chieftains, has died aged 83. The band collaborated with everyone from Van Morrison and Mick Jagger to Frank Zappa and Madonna, but here they are back where they started out, playing in an Irish pub:

Only just caught up with this, I love how YouTube throws stuff your way...It's a return to form for Nada Surf who i'd lost track of some 20 years ago!

Any excuse for a bit of Van Morrison, here playing with the Chieftains. I've heard a few people do Raglan Road, but this is my favourite.
Van sitting at the back behind the drums looking like, as someone describes him in the comments, "a slightly shabby literature teacher" and then he starts singing.
