Midnight Mass didn't resonate with me at all - Bible quotes, fires, guns, zealots, an angel (was it Lucifer?). Might appeal to an American audience where God & Guns are still mainstream, but to any European audience, imo, it was a naive yawn fest. The Squid Game, on the other hand, is so much more in tune with the human condition, the mind, the unsavoury decisions we make under stress, the fight for survival are things that we can all empathize with.

The Squid Games on Netflix is getting a lot of attention at the minute. I finished it last night. Imagine a much more violent version of the Challenge TV Show: Takeshi’s Castle.

At least we now know what Elon Musk, Bill Gates and Jeff Bozos get up to in their free time

Just watching a series on Netflix called Bad Sport. Six episodes cover a range of sports covered in controversy, each episode dedicate to one sport.
Good so far.

Just watched "The Last Mountain" last night on Beeb iPlayer (BBC2 originally). Unbelievable story and footage of mountaineer Tom Ballard and his mountaineering mother Alison Hargreaves, who both perished on seperate expeditions to the Himalayas. Makes you wonder what causes adventurers to take up such dangerous passtimes/careers.
Outstanding documentary. It'll be on iPlayer for the next year. Some unbelievable camera shots.
