Interesting that Bruno has similar ideas to some of us on here, maybe it's not all the managers fault?

The Portugal international was understandably annoyed by how the visitors' equaliser came about, from a corner he took for United at the other end of the pitch. The Toffees quickly countered and equalised through the aforementioned Townsend.

"Of course, it’s a really bad corner from me," he said about Everton's equaliser.

"We didn't close down well enough outside the box, we didn’t clear the ball, we made many mistakes starting with my corner. We should do better, we should learn because it’s not the first time it’s happened. We have to be better next time. We need to change something, something’s not working to concede so many counter-attacks.

"That’s down to the players, not someone else. We have to make a foul, stop the game, I have to take a better corner. Many, many things have to be done better."

The vast majority is the manager's fault.

It's absolutely bonkers to suggest it isn't now.

Perhaps i shouldn't have highlighted certain phrases, that way you might have read the whole quote and realised he was talking about many games this season <doh>

No mate the bit you asked specifically ALL relates to the corner. Even the bit about the players being responsible. The fact you've made yourself look an idiot is your problem not anyone else's <ok>
