It's amazing you think team selection and tactics have no bearing on performance.

You genuinely believe it's the players fault that they're set up to play **** football. Incredible <laugh>
Well i certainly don't think the manager tells a winger to pass the ball back to the full back who then passes it to the centre back who then makes a 5yard pas to the centre mid.
Watch some other teams play and tell me how their manager dictated their passes and movement <laugh>

You put far too much blame on the manager and give the players a free pass when the evidence is in front of your eyes what they are capable of when they give a ****.

You do realise this isn't a one off right? It's been happening for the past 18 months.

You do realise the pass and movement happens as a result of the training and coaching before and between games?

Or did you think after every game they all go off on holiday and reappear just before kick off <laugh>

So yes I'm afraid that it is part of the tactics and dare I say coaching. You know, that little thing every man and his dog has been saying for a while.

Diego believes Ole sets the team up to play like Barca in their hey day, but the players go out and do the opposite.

Oh mate <laugh>

So in the games we have played fantastic and been very exciting to watch it was all down to Ole?
Great to know he can change ideas/instruction so late in games <ok>

He can't though, and it's funny you believe that. See Young Boys, the League Cup and Aston Villa for details <ok>

Since this is the moaning thread (well I am using it as such), I’ve got to say Dalot didn’t impress me yesterday. We missed AWB in that position. Time and time again, he was caught out of position. And when he was in the right position he was easily outdone by Damjuna. A high proportion of their chances started from their left. And his crossing wasn’t that hot either.

Yeah, that's because he's more a wing back and was played in a flat back four.

Last night was crying our for three centre halves and two wingbacks, given both our actual full backs and main centre half were out of action.

Instead we went flat back four with no actual DCM, just McTominay.

Dalot will get all the blame.

I've never considered him a rb. He's a very good right winger though.

What a goal by Telles. Fck me. What a volley <applause> 1-1

<whistle>

Reactions: Treble
Another cloned performance, another poor result.

I think we're at the point of no return with Ole. He's run out of ideas and lets be honest he's limited in his ideas.

We'll be out of the title race by end of October, maybe November if we give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think we can make it to the last 16 of the CL and then we'll be out.

FA Cup I think we could have a decent run depending on the draws. That's all we realistically can hope for. Not sure we'll win it though, but I think it's time to get real.

I’m so p!ssed! I can’t wait for us to win 5-0 to rid me of this wretched pain.

I’m not even p!ssed at Ole. I’m p!ssed at every ex player that destroyed previous managers whenever they were given a mic. But with Ole, they are mum! And of course there are many fans sitting there “hoping” for a bright future that they know deep down isn’t going to come under Ole’s leadership.

I’m p!ssed at the apathy on display across the club.

For me we shouldn’t have conceded that equaliser. A team like United to concede in such a fashion is criminal. That’s was the only way they were going to score and we couldn’t deal with it. Fred as I said earlier was brushed aside as if he wasn’t there. McTominay mislaid many passes. All in all a poor performance especially at home.

Simply not good enough. The only consolation is that despite our poor form we are not stranded at the bottom of the table like the past 3 seasons.

The only problem though is that we're on the coat tails having not played any of the top sides whereas they have. We also remove any pressure on them from us in doing so.

They play the way they do because we don’t have a way of playing. They are not coached into forming habits to subdue teams. When the talents come through with wonderful passes from Pogba and Bruno, we look like world beaters. But when they can’t find their boots, we become a mid table team.

Ah yes, the top teams. They will be as much worried to play us as we will be to play them. Last season, we lost ground not because of matches against those but against so called smaller teams.

looking at it objectively (without any reference to the manager), the only time we lose ground is if/when we lose against them. Draw it stays the same and win we catch up on them. All title winning teams don’t drop points against so called smaller teams and that’s the big worry.

We lost ground to both mate.

It's not the direct points we lose either. It's the indirect ones like when we play City, then Livpl & Chelsea pull away. Or when we play Chelsea then Livpl and City pull away. Basically what we were supposed to do to them these last two weekends but didn't manage, they certainly will.

We lost ground to City last week mate.

We lost at home to Villa, they won away at Chelsea.

Of course we did.
