Appreciated, but the level of football has been for the vast majority of the last 15 years ****ing dirge, including under way more illustrious managers. I've just resigned myself to not giving a toss about Mike Ashley FC, 'cos it ain't my football club. When my club eventually reappears, I'll gladly care once again.

Sometimes you have to fight and not withdraw into yourself. Fingers cross that time will soon be upon us.

At least we have a club.

Did you watch a different game yesterday though?
That's how me and GG started this debate... We played great just missed chances and looked great in the 3rd kit too.

I got irritated when I saw people complaining about Bruce after that game and wanted to tell them it wasn't his fault.

We dominated the game the players just missed

I said yesterday it wasn't his fault. I actually blame Graeme Jones. He's the one coaching the attacking players according to Steve Bruce.

When Derby county was in the PL they had two great games. Guess who they were against? Every team every now and then regardless of their ****tiness still have a good game. Good. Not great.

Then you agree on not wumming amd agreed with me on the who's blame it wasn't

I don't agree it was Jones fault either though.. The players it was the players missing their chances.. The set up etc was spot on

We look a stronger team than a few out there.

We really need another goalscorer or two, I was happy to see Murphy on because he has a habit of burying chances.

He ****ed it.

Think that our attacking prowess has actually depleted. Without Wilson we're nothing. Jones can surely see this and work on striking the ball?

Then you're wrong because it can get alot worse as we've found on numerous occasions.

You keep complaining about ownership and then expecting top half fron Bruce? But you were fine with rafa finishing 13th.
You need to look at what they inherited and what financial support they had whilst they were/are in charge and then take one step back and look at the bigger picture.

On one level Pardew did well eg style and results (at times) but I didn’t like him due to the bigger picture eg “head butting an opposition player, pushing a linesman etc.

Rafa promoted the Club, the team and the fans but Bruce looks to do the exact opposite.

I don't need to look at anything I know exactly what's going on mate.

How much have other clubs spent? Yes that's part of your bigger picture my friend

If Bruce wins he's lucky or it's boring
If Bruce wins it's Jones

If we draw or lose Bruce's to blame

If the club finishes 12th it's what happened the 1st half of the season and too selective took at only the last 18 ( your words) you judge full seasons remember?

Yet here we are after a only 6 games here you're again jumping in making judgements.

So if you’d been Captain of the Titanic when would you have sent the people to the lifeboats and called for help? You’d be still claiming everything was okay as the ship didn’t sink when it was on it’s sea trials. Judgements are an ongoing continuous thing. You look both long and short term otherwise you’re an idiot.

In any event I’m not just judging Bruce solely on this season. I’m judging him on this season, and last season. 7 wins in the last 36 games is surely a long enough period to judge especially as it incorporates your ‘golden’ period. I’m also looking at team performances, tactics, player development as well as results.

Now, given all of that, you tell me how Bruce is doing okay? No dancing as you keep claiming others including me do that but I do notice a tendency of your’s to ignore the hard questions and/or go off at a tangent and not actually answer the question.

We have 2 finishers. 1 who's always injured who's elite, and Gayle who's all round game is poor

No I'm afraid you're just making it all up as you go along as usual.

Did you or did you not take the piss and refuse to acknowledge the fact nufc were there 10th best for the the last 18 games of the season? Yes you said you judge full seasons... We finished 12th. You said you expected top half.. ( unrealistic expectations)

Now you're out here saying you judge the short term also? using selective stats to justify things.

I'll answer you

Bruce's doing OK because he's kept the club up twice and that's his job.. He did so finished 13 th then 12th so it go better.....

I was meaning one or two in other positions who can score a few.

Both Max and Miggy are not good enough in front of goal.

Miggy has to play tho his contribution all over the pitch is key

Dancing as usual.

Which part of the facts I’ve given are made up?

I’ll save you looking. None.

You may not realise but 36 is 2 short of a PL season. So a long period to judge results, performances, tactics, player development.

Tenth best on 18 games. So what. Just one of a number of stats to judge him on. You might be impressed with that but I’m not. Even Bruce claimed he was looking to achieve a top ten finish. Guess what, he failed. But I’m unrealistic for wanting to finish top ten for the season even if that was what the manager was aiming to do before the season started. LOL.

You obviously didn't read or understand that I've just proved you're making things up as you go along.

So what he finished 12th above most fans expectations (! Unless they were lieing)

He's allowed to be ambitious? Or not? You keep criticism either way

1. You haven’t. You’ve just proved you avoided again the points I make. It’s called “deflection”.

2. Didn’t match my expectations nor even his own. So why should I be happy?

Willock is the obvious answer but he hasn't been that great yet. Not that I'm writing him off or out

You clearly said you judged full seasons when last season when you refused to acknowledge the 18 game form we had the second half of last season

Yet today you've just said you judge long and short term

Yes. I don’t take one stat in isolation to everything else and hence why I would not judge Bruce on an 18 game run in isolation to everything else. It’s not difficult to understand.

So then why not judge him on the fact we finished 12th over 38 ? Progressed from 13th too.

You're saying you judge short and long term, but won't judge the short or the long lol
