Then you don't like yourself mate because that's what you and the rest of the fanbase are doing regarding the subject matter Steve bruce.

Like I say you don't even know you're doing it and I'm actually defending your own principles

I do find the Bruce argument - for AND against - very tiresome. I could understand it if we had an ambitious set-up and were all scratching our heads wondering why he's still here, but we obviously don't and we're all very aware of that.

Bruce is well beyond crap. He's nobody's first choice, including Chaos. But he's not going to be replaced a) by anyone competent or b) until we're taken over. We've really just got to ride it out. I personally find it mellower to not actually watch the matches, because I go into it biased against Bruce, which isn't good for my health!

Objectively, Watford's always been a tough place for us to go and we've gone, been the better team. So what does that tell me? First, formation change is starting to twig. Second, the players haven't - and probably won't - down tools, because they've come to accept the view that he's just not going anywhere under Ashley (I believe they were told this at the summit last season). So do we have enough to finish above 17th? Yes, we do. Will it be fun to watch? Of course not - so don't watch. The point of this Newcastle is to muddle and bumble along 38 matches (plus two inconvenient cup games) to finish 17th or higher, which I suspect we have a very high chance of doing once again. Norwich - down. Burnley - rubbish. Brentford - bubble could burst. Watford - poor. Palace - not safe. Wolves - not safe. Southampton - always in danger.

Basically, rather than even bothering with an individual result under Ashley, you might as well just turn on Teletext in May and see if the club's up or down, then react however you feel. Personally, I couldn't give two ****s about each match, about survival or relegation, under this owner.

So were you expecting Rafa to be appointed after McLaren? No.

Shows you can even with Ashley in charge have the chance of improving the manager.

So if it thought, which I do, that even a tub of butter would do better than the tub of lard and genuinely believe any manager would be better than Bruce that it’s not worth the risk of getting rid of the worst manager in PL history (who have managed more than 300 games) and get someone new in as it would improve the prospects of staying up and possibly saving the takeover.

Well some of us do care.
Regardless of ownership I still have a certain level of football I wish to watch. Steve e Bruce has shown he can not provide this.
Should I just remain quiet? No.

Good. Though I still put that down to the players not caring as well.

Bruce is ****. We can all see that but so the players really just accept the days off when every other team are training their arses off? Are they not embarrassed that they look so poor and unfit? I would be.

Then you're wrong because it can get alot worse as we've found on numerous occasions.

You keep complaining about ownership and then expecting top half fron Bruce? But you were fine with rafa finishing 13th.

Appreciated, but the level of football has been for the vast majority of the last 15 years ****ing dirge, including under way more illustrious managers. I've just resigned myself to not giving a toss about Mike Ashley FC, 'cos it ain't my football club. When my club eventually reappears, I'll gladly care once again.

Did you watch a different game yesterday though?
That's how me and GG started this debate... We played great just missed chances and looked great in the 3rd kit too.

I got irritated when I saw people complaining about Bruce after that game and wanted to tell them it wasn't his fault.

We dominated the game the players just missed
