Never a ****ing penalty, either: https://streamja.com/rdGVO His arm is right by his side and it's down. Where's he supposed to put it? Martinez ****-talking Fernandes by telling him that Ronaldo should be taking it:
Crap decision. Didn't we say that United were bound to get a pen today? On the other hand a penalty given and missed is better and much more funny than not being given one at all.
Very well played Brentford and great entertainment. It seems hard to believe that Norwich City, who are certainties for the drop, finished 10 points clear of Brentford last season. Just goes to show what you can achieve in the PL if you give it a go. Brentford are getting what they deserve and so too are Norwich.
Yeah, sometimes sides are just very consistent against inferior opposition, like Norwich appear to be. Brentford will have their off days but as you say, a terrific watch. It didn't matter what the score was they wanted to play on the front foot as much as possible. They remind me of Bournemouth and Swansea when they came up. Nights like this will go a long way towards making up for not getting to see off Griffin Park properly.
Oh dear. You're right. They probably don't give that as the 'last man' though because of the distance from goal? That's if they give it at all of course. Even though he was the last man. But apart from that everything is fair. But wait! I just noticed that Solskjaer has cried unfair because Villa's goal was... 'offside'. Well he demanded a pen last week and got one, perhaps the next fair goal against them will be given offside?
It’s unbelievable how well Brentford have settled into that ground given the struggles Arsenal/Tottenham/West Ham have had since moving. As for Norwich, they will do well to make it to 20 points.
Teflon Don of football. Terry and Vidic were specialists at doing that and getting away with it but in this era of VAR for them to not even review that just shows what we all know.
Millwall and to a lesser extent West Ham are probably the only two clubs where everybody in the surrounding areas supports the club. It’s very old school in that sense. Arsenal have by far the largest following in Greater London but Chelsea and Tottenham easily outnumber them in Home Counties (Surrey/Middlesex for Chelsea and Hertfordshire/North Essex for Tottenham).
Fair play to him we would all do the same the other way round! I like Ian Wright seems like a decent bloke
Yeah Wright's one of the better pundits around and does seem a decent bloke. He's been equally full of praise and criticism for us when it's due.
Palace v Brighton highlights: Don't get me wrong, I think it's a penalty, but how is that more of a foul than our one on Sunday? Where's the consistency?
Real Madrid are playing Sheriff Tiraspol and a Cristiano assist has just given the lead... to Sheriff. https://streamja.com/zPMRJ
