I was out on the beers in Chicago when I was asked for ID. At the time I was a bald 6’1 bearded man in his mid 40’s who looked his age…..apparently they do not ‘age discriminate’ so the bouncers have to ask everyone their age.![]()
This was buying a lottery ticket at a petrol station. (I don't buy them often but do occasionally for fun).
Some places DO have mandatory checks for cigarettes/alcohol in stores. The system makes them type in the birthdate to prove they checked. Never been carded at this place by anyone else before.
