    How ****ing lovely was that?
Cocky, mouthy **** Kholi celebrating buzzers like they'd won the match and then is out.
    Beautiful.

I really don't have a problem with Kohli. He's just a passionate and ultra-competitive captain, albeit not the best tactician. He's also a great batsman, so I'm delighted to see the back of him. England are right in this game now. As I posted last night, I reckon we've got a reasonable chance chasing anything under 300.

Reckon 300 is optimistic based on watching England the last few years, I am worried now

What a ridiculous way to blow your last review. Root is a very average captain.

    Yep.
The pressure of batting last very often causes sides to not get their target, even on good surfaces like this one.
Get these last 4 for not very many and we may have a sniff.

What an idiotic review by England.
Miles from the bat and their last review burned.

Moeen muffs a simple run out opportunity, trying to throw down the stumps when he had time to lob the ball to Bairstow, or even run in himself.

368 might be just out of reach.

    England 77-0 at the close.
    Excellent by the two openers.

    First hurdle negotiated.

England will need to score at around 3 an over I believe, which isn't impossible.
However, lose a couple of quick wickets and I reckon they'll give it up and play for the draw.
Would be great to see them go for it.

Ballsy opening partnership by Hameeb and Burns........ Pitch still looks good for batting and with the weather set good for tomorrow there might not be too much in the pitch for the bowlers........ Only thing is that Jadeja was getting a lot of spin out of the rough when bowling to left handed Burns, so could cause the lefties in the England top order......

Set up nicely for a cracking 5th day........

I’m glad I’m not working tomorrow, day 5 should be a classic.

    Yep, same.
First session obviously vital to decide whether England can go for it or not.
I'd imagine their plan will be to just play normally, take runs when they're there and see where they are at lunch.
Didn't see the last couple of hours yesterday, as I was watching the football, but seems Hameed and Burns played very well.
More of the same today could make it very interesting.
    Come on England.

I actually have to go in to the office today, otherwise I would have gone to the Oval. Hoping to be finished by 1pm, though.

Let's hope it's an exciting finish.

Looking like a beautiful day today. Let’s hope Burns and Hameed can get themselves settled in and continue the good work.
No early wickets to get the Indian tails up please! It’s been a good test match, just need to break the record and tease out the win to finish it perfectly.

If they can get to about 160/170 at lunch for the loss of 1or 2 wickets then game on, hope they don’t lose any though
