I think the window is closed now unless it's an emergency loan. Its likely that Hawkes loan was agreed before the deadline, but not finished completely. There is a sort of "place holder" agreement that can be sent to the FA before deadline to say its agreed but just needs final details completing which gives a bit more timeto get it done, but I think its only a few extra hours. So it might have been one of these used in this case, with the deal finished sometime yesterday and they announced it today.What exactly can/can't be done now the window has shut? Signing players for a fee I know. Can we still get loans in if Tranmere can or was this done before the window shut and they've just announced it now?
Free agents are allowed to sign, anything else?
Saying that, I could be wrong and the loan window could still be open for some levels!
