Young players from other clubs are more than likely to be mates, England's youth set up etc, all it takes is for one good one to come here, next thing he's onto his mate to come up, then the next. After that we're known for signing good young players and other good players take notice. imo like
Both seasons we’ve had games in hand that would have had us 2 and we blew it. We had 3 shots at getting above Peterborough last season and we fell apart. The cup run has cost us twice for me, ran out of legs.
Definitely true for the game we lost, not so certain last season... but yes it is a distraction and tires players out mentally and physically.
Yeah more the first season, we were in a position I think we went into top 2 then just crashed. Last season the other 2 were better than us but we still had the games to do it and ****ed it.
We did the hard work by not losing to Peterborough and Hull City away, yet lost 3 games in between them, then after Hull we couldn’t even beat Accrington nor Northampton at home
Aye, we really did have the opening. That said I think clearly they were better balanced sides the 2 that went up. It looks different now, calculated, planned. We look and feel totally different this season, even in the good runs last couple seasons it’s always felt a bit wing and a prayer.
Im hopeful we will. Obviously the rehab improves all the time, look at jiminez! Additionally, I don't think we'd give him a year just out of the goodness of our heart.
that is a valid point imho, we rarely looked as if we were going to score in many (most?) games, now i feel we will score and just a matter of when, the next step will hopefully be knowing we will score just a case of how many...the current set up is reminding me of an early reidy style as if things are coming together nicely.
Just what i've read on here and elsewhere mate. The club did the right thing giving him a contract even though there may be little chance he'll play for us this season if at all.
Definitely mate, and when you look at clips of Huggins, him at RB is going to give us even more. Lad looks a weapon.
Sheff Utd clearly need cash - hence the rumours of wanting a large loan fee looks like their **** start has put them into panic mode and so rather than loan him out they want to sell him and take short term cash madness.
to be honest lads - if one of those sign him on a permanent they will likely look to loan him straight out anyway. doesn't really change anything in fact it might make him more likely to join
