Saw him back in 1966 when he was in the Thunderbirds backing Chris Farlowe. Though he is now known as Mr Telecaster I believe he had only the second Stratocaster in this country when he got one, the other one being Hank Marvin's

What an underappreciated star AL is.

Ignoring the fact that this isn't appropriate on the RIP thread, Eddie was out of the kitchen business years before Five Star played at his event, so he had none of his own kitchens to install.

He was a lovely bloke and will be missed by many.

RIP Eddie.

and highly thought of by all (or certainly most) who ever saw him or listened to him I would think. Just never a household name.

Which is what I meant. Not widely known except by musical afficianados. Whereas people with only a fraction of his talent. Sadly.
