Saw him back in 1966 when he was in the Thunderbirds backing Chris Farlowe. Though he is now known as Mr Telecaster I believe he had only the second Stratocaster in this country when he got one, the other one being Hank Marvin's

I thought we were writing about our memories of Eddie, awfully sorry if my inappropriateness offendsIgnoring the fact that this isn't appropriate on the RIP thread, Eddie was out of the kitchen business years before Five Star played at his event, so he had none of his own kitchens to install.
He was a lovely bloke and will be missed by many.
