We own them both. Proof that the recruitment team can sign good players from above. Free yes, but in the eyes of some that is a good thing. We probably needed 8 or 9 players, never going to buy 9 for a fee.
Absolutely no guarantee that spending money means you’re getting a good player. It’s also been proven that you can get out of this league without spending.
IMO I think when the window closes we will have a very strong squad. Few permanent signings with a couple of other loans of good youngns from prem.
