I'm not on about the unhappy fans I'm on about the ones who are tweeting speakmen, Calling the kids ****, complaining we've got no staff to run the ticket office when the all isolating, the whole set up of the club and kld getting called ****, every time the clubs tweets something countless people jumping on to comment and having a go , look at today, pulling out of the deal for the lb, no one knows why, but instantly the club is getting pelters for it
Even city fans criticise. We've something to criticise at present were nut being unreasonable much as we're being painted as that way.
I've never Been on Facebook or Twitter. People on there are very extreme. Some aren't even our support. I'd ignore twitter.
I'm off that for many reasons many being wums. Club just need to get it right on the pitch from first game. If not discontent will grow.
Right now we have. Unless they've announced players and I missed it. I judge on where we're at now not what players we may sign tomorrow or the next day or end of next month.
I think you're totally missing the point, and length, of the transfer window ... ... being concerned is one thing, criticising an open window is like complaining to the barman that your pint isn't full while he's still pouring it.
I can understand criticising the club if the window had ended but we still have plenty of time to get players in.
I’m not impressed with this summer at all, however would I tweet/message Speakman or comment on a Twitter post the club put up? I couldn’t be arsed man.
I disagree from the first game, ideal world yes you would want that, but for me it's has to be right when the window shuts if it's before that even better, if it's not, and we get the right players In at the end window I'll be very happy the club took its time, if we **** it up come the 1st of September, I'll not be happy then,
It's really not though. We've 15 points to play for before the window closes. We're already behind as we're missing key areas of the 11 not just the squad. Coach and DoF were quoted as mentioning how key it is to get players in early. We've failed in that aim. I'm not judging whole window as I've said it can change. It's not where club planned to be and not where we want to be though.
I'm not too concerned with the lack of incoming players as there's still time but the thing that does concern me is a lack of a 'style or pattern of play'. There's been a lot said about developing a style of play throughout the club so people moving up through the teams would slot straight in but I've seen nothing to suggest we're even starting to develop a particular way of playing. Now, is it a case of we can't play the style we want as we don't have the players (yet) to play the style we want to? In which case it was even more important to get those players in early. Or do we not really have an idea of how we want to play? Looking at the pre-season games so far (3 I've watched on tv and the other 'live') we've looked slow in the main, the odd burst from the odd player (Embleton v Harrogate, Gooch v Hearts) and in none of the games can you say "this looks similar to how we played in the last game". I honestly think the Hull game tomorrow could be a right wake up call, if they're pacy, up for it, then I think we may get a hiding if I'm honest. We start slow and don't dominate games, have no natural leader, still too ponderous. I know it's still pre-season but players aside, you can't say the football on the pitch has actually improved since last season.
No fullback all pre season! LJ not sleeping saying he wanted players at start of preseason. DoF also quoted as saying this too. It's clear were nit in great condition and no one can say otherwise. It can change but no one can gaurentee it and 15 points before deadline to play for.
I love that analogy. But this is more like he’s started pouring your pint and then he’s had to go down and change the keg. You know you’re going to get a full pint but you don’t know when it’s coming and if he has the right beer
Were they, I don't think anyone said 'key' tbh. All managers say they want business done early, Allardyce said it at every club he's been at.
i don’t think not having a left back will cost us 15 points. signing the wrong players that we are then stuck with might cost us a hell of a lot more over the next couple of seasons. I’d still much rather the right ones came in on 30th august than the wrong ones now. I’m just disappointed because I’m losing faith that that will happen. That’s my problem tho not the clubs
