The trophy thing ****s me off tbh.
He has now played in 4 finals (3 for spurs and 1 for England) ... he has not scored or assisted in any of them.

He has played in 6 semi finals for spurs and scored in just 2 of them and 2 for England and has scored in 1 of them.

Maybe he should take a little look at himself tbf.

Those are massive games where teams need massive players to produce that bit of magic.

I'd be interested to know the stats of golden boot winners, how many of the teams they played for, picked up the title in the same season.
 
I think Kane would be better off going to Palace. I think he should at least pick up an FA Cup there.

He inherited a team with Kompany, Aguero, Fernandinho, D Silva, Stirling and Debruyne and went on to spend £860m in 5 years...and still ****ing moans about money <laugh>

And still ain't won the the one trophy he was brought in to do...
inherits or 6 world class players, spends £850m and only matches what Spurs have achieved in the CL <doh>

I don't see why any Spurs fan should care if you get £100m or £160m tbh.

I can't see any benefit to selling Kane if you're a Spurs fan.

You lose a striker you can't replace, and whatever the price it won't be reinvested in any significant amount towards replacing him.

Never a truer word spoken.
Kane is irreplaceable. A striker of his level wont go to Spurs, he'll want CL football and a shot at titles.
Their only hope is to find a hidden gem and develop him, which will likely take a couple seasons at least, unless they have another kick ass striker in their academy.
Levy will have set Spurs transfer budget for this summer, and I doubt it'll change, no matter what fee they get for Kane. Only one place that money is going, and that is Levy's and the board's pockets.

If Kane is sold then we will be weakened.

If he is sold and the money is all reinvested well we could kick on. We were mathematically in with a shout of a CL place until 3 games before the end of the season.
So 3 or 4 more wins (we'd have got top 4 if we hadn't kept conceding goals in the last 10 minutes of games last season) could make all the difference.
In this case the difference between £100m and £160m matters a lot.

If the club sell and don't reinvest the money then things will turn real ugly real quick with fans back in the ground.

Personally I am torn.
On one hand I would like him to stay and us to get a replacement for Aurier, two CDs and a DM as I think that would give us a fighting chance of top 4 and possibly another cup final.

On the other hand I hate when players pull the "I deserve a trophy" card out of their arse.

Like I said before ... the bloke hasn't scored or assisted in 4 finals.

What ever happens Levy and Enic need to get this season right or the **** will hit the fan....my money is on @Spurlock leading the charge into WHL with the pitch forks by the end of the 6th game after we've lost to City, Arsenal and Chelsea!
