when RHC says "if he can do it sure you can" what he means is surely you know someone who will do it for you like they do for him @luvgonzo to confirm
Luv will be pleased to hear you are getting to grips with modern tech Hows Kenny getting on this heat ?
I'll be surprised if it happens, I just can't think of why they would want him, how he works in the Spurs team is not how it's going to work in the City team. Look at the problems Mourhino encountered. I just think from a City perpsective the idea is bonkers, even more bonkers when I saw the price tag. £160M for a guy that's not won a trophy* is just laughable. Disclaimer, except for golden boots*
According to yesterday's Mirror, City have "warned spurs they won't be held to ransome" over the fee for Kane and they won't pay over £100m. Today the Mirror online say "they won't forced" to pay more than £120m. They are richer than God. They have spent over £860m since Pep took over...so stop the ****ing whining and cough up ffs...tight ****s
They have never paid more than £65M ish for any player and i doubt they are going anywhere near doubling that for a static striker who will **** their game up.
From a Spurs perspective I can see why you need the cash, but if I was a City supporter I'd be telling you on yer bike. Honestly, I wouldn't even offer £90M for the guy, only one man falls in that price bracket and he plays for Barcelona.
The issue is, Pep is obsessed with his legacy, and that legacy is dependent on people believing his bullshit. Since week one, hes said City cannot spend whatever they want. Its a complete fabrication, but if he wants it to be slightly true he cant go and spend 160m on someone.
