Were we deluded? Yes, there was the German victory, but would it have been a cakewalk to the Final if the round of 16, the quarters or semis had meant encounters with France, Spain, Belgium?

Yes he does.
Yes he does .
Some it seems would like it swept under the carpet .
Add in the amount of violence and I
Cant say I'm to bothered if we get the World Cup.
It cost Italy the chance of bidding for the Euros a few years ago.

This team has is many ways overachieved.

Great.

But don't let's kid ourselves we are better than we are.
I genuinely believe we have the second strongest squad at this tournament and probably in world football. We lack depth in central defence and that's it.
We used to cry out for a midfielder who could control the game like modric did to us in the world cup. Well we've got two of them but southgate insists on not playing them or playing them on the wing where we're stacked with talent already.

You serious here or what? <laugh>

...and also thin-skinned, prickly, quick to take offence and repetitive.
Your bitterness knows no bounds.
Have you managed to crawl back under the rock you emerged from yet?
I'll send you a dictionary if you'd like a few more words to insult/demean others with.
What's it like being someone else' s messenger?

The behaviour of some England fans is quite a common occurrence across most City centres and towns across England on a Friday/Saturday night.
London’s knife crime is out of control and the police have lost the streets.
Welcome to modern England.
Though having travelled extensively across Europe it isn’t that much better intact in fact Countries like Spain & Italy’s views on black people are abhorrent.
Worlds pretty ****ed and locking people up for 18 months has’t helped.

It amazes me that a handful of accounts in Mexico or the UAE can post the word '******' a few times on Twitter, and within an hour our national media are ushering in a full day of lambasting white English people as bigots. This epitomises the idea of a 'strawman'. Nobody ever questions it, nobody ever looks into it, they just assume the accusations are true and accurate and moralise accordingly.

There's plenty of them in the UK, many of them now suffering the consequences of the things they posted. Shaun Drewery, who owns North Ferriby and Swanland Window Cleaning Services, is going to be having a quiet week this week, having posted that there's too many coons in the squad.

With regards to England and football we had a very good tournament.
Didn’t lose a game in 90/120 minutes.
People keep talking about how good Italy are but they needed pens to beat us.
Southgate ha shown absolute class all the way through the tournament as have the England players all of them.
We will be better by the time the WC comes around and hopefully Grealish gets a big move love to see him developed further by Pep.
We was too defensive I think most would agree with that and I’m sure Southgate will reflect on that over the coming weeks.
Onwards and upwards.

And yet Cyril and Cedric were nowhere to be seen when the penalties came. Typical.
