Loads of italians in Chicago, as well. Probably more than NY.

Lots of migrant workers who built the infrastructure won't be going home from Qatar

China or the US to be 'awarded' the 2026?

EDIT : already awarded to the US, Canada and Mexico (3rd time)

My sentiments entirely. Rashford and Sancho should have been brought on at the beginning of the second half of extra time to get Match warming up and into the game. They are not exactly poor players. And asking the youngest member of the team to take the crucial last penalty was a mistake unless of course all the older senior players wimped out.

If Southgate acted too late or nominated wrong pen takers, that is 100% down to him.

    He risked and lost.

No way would Mancini taken that risk.

Fine margins but that's what happens at the later stages of these big tournaments.

Southgate will keep his job because he;s a good company man, regardless of how well/badly he does.

Disappointing to see the vicious political infighting, media scapegoating and negative reporting......but totally expected.

They never look at themselves or their own cynical/sensationalistic reporting.

This whole thing about 3 black guys missing the penalties, I honestly never even noticed, until I woke up today, to see this **** all over the internet.

It amazes me that a handful of accounts in Mexico or the UAE can post the word 'nigger' a few times on Twitter, and within an hour our national media are ushering in a full day of lambasting white English people as bigots. This epitomises the idea of a 'strawman'. Nobody ever questions it, nobody ever looks into it, they just assume the accusations are true and accurate and moralise accordingly.

All that media space reserved for the victory story......so they had to fill it up with some other stuff.

    It's what they do.
