Can't really blame Bonko and his chums for not bothering to come up with plausible excuses for themselves. No matter how many strains of the virus are allowed to enter the country, no matter how many taxpayer funded sleazy contracts are awarded to their friends and family, no matter how many of them break the rules they themselves devised, no matter how many lies and outlandish excuses they fabricate, they know that their supporters will mitigate them with "Well it would have been worse under Jeremy Corbyn".
Not many people realise Corbyn was actually a Tory plant ... ... the evidence is out there if people take the time to look for it. (If not people can always make up the evidence to suit their point of view.)
I think Jeremy Corbyn is a genetically engineered artifical lifeform made from combining the DNA of Stalin, Nikita Khrushchev, and a gnome, sent by the World Communist Alliance (who meet in a cave underneath Mount Kilimanjaro) to act as a fall guy for the failure of radical socialism in the UK. And if you don't believe me, you can look it up
Yeah that was interesting because of the credibility of the eye witnesses, it's usually some goggly eyed redneck on the way home from the bar. Who knows eh.
When you sit down and start to understand how big the universe is it is truly mind boggling. When you then ask yourself are we alone tne answer has to be no. I once went to a talk on this and the argument was intelligent life was unlikely because of the extraordinary set of circumstances that contrubuted to the formation of earth. I remember thinking that was quite arrogant and that if space is infinite far more likely our liminted capacity to understand makes us unable to see why there may be far more intelligent planets out there.
Believing that there are things beyond our understanding or that are yet to be discovered is being open-minded. That's much different to believing conspiracy theories. Its inconceivable that we won't make new scientific discoveries. I find that quite reassuring.
Don't know about world news, but as far as the north east goes it's only believable if Mike Neville reports it.. There's even a conspiracy saying that he's dead !!
I often wonder for the reverse -- if we get to someone else first, do we just say hi, have we gone with the intention of resources, for taking it to colonise, will we have taken weapons in case they want to fight us ?
Aye it sounds a bit wacky to say that logically there has to be aliens but if space truly is infinite I don't see how it can be any other way. If it's not...I think it'd blow my mind trying to comprehend it. Tbh even if space was just quite large I'd believe there was life on other planets. I think there's evidence there was water on Mars which means the possibility of life and that's right on our doorstep.
I suppose if it's someone who can somehow travel rapidly through space from planet to planet they might visit out of nothing more than curiosity. Going off the tech we've got on earth with the amount of time it'd take to get anywhere I've got to think we'd be doing it to colonise not just explore for the heck of it.
Scientists also now proposing multiverse theory - really mind boggling. As has been said not a conspiracy theory but if there are then perhaps there is a place where JFK was really shot by a lone gunman...
Talking of Mars, the size of the chocolate bar now, compared to what it was in the 70s is fcuking scandalous, now that's a conspiracy, more of a con TBH.
