Rafa will annoy the crap out of you, but it is actually refreshing going into games knowing you won't lose easily

I think this will end up a disaster tbh.

He's not really achieved anything for a while now (despite popular opinion I thought he was average at Newcastle) and the Liverpool connection along with the fact his football is incredibly dull will mean that he won't get any leeway once he hits a bad batch. It will become toxic very quickly imo.

Only a cup win will win fans over imo and I can't see that happening. Nice easy game on opening day mind.

Gone by Christmas 2022 at the latest.

Honest question. Who else could Everton appoint at the moment ? Look at the trouble Spurs are having getting a manager in and they are arguably a slightly better option than Everton. Graham Potter maybe ? Nuno ? None of them are gonna set the place alight. But Rafa is at least a safe pair of hands for a season or two.

I just don't see any quality managers available at the moment and Everton lack the pulling power to prize away another manager of Ancelotti's calibre.

I think Everton fans are more bothered about his Liverpool connection because other than that he's without doubt bar Carlo the most successful manager they'll have had.

There’s not an abundance of decent managers available at this point, there could be a surprise or two after the Euros has finished, maybe the likes of Sweden, Denmark, Austria might surprise a few and their managers become hot property.

There’s load of the teds on Twitter giving it - iVe BIn gOin 50 yEaRs lAd bUt iF hE cOmEs iM dOnE.

It’s not about his recent record, it’s about the fact that he’s a former Kopite manager who won **** with them & taunted us, 15 years ago...

We’ve appointed far worse than him and there’s not been anything like the same reaction.

He due improve is tbh.. When he took I've we were a jess heading down and when he left we were a solid side...

Bruce took over a solid side unlike rafa and has done marginally better, but has also had around 100 million whereas rafa had a net spend of around 20.

He'll do better than you think
