The sad part is that it's another example of owners just ignoring the fans. Ashley has that approach, but there's nothing you can do and they don't care about you.

Is it though? Since when did fans get to pick the manager like?

Benitez left Castle Greyskull donkeys ago, and has had a number of jobs since, including at your spot. If he was fresh from the pit, then I’d have more sympathy. But most of them are just cry arsing more as they think someone like Favre, who’s done next to **** all, would be a better pick & they’re using the ‘hEz a kOpiTe’ as an excuse to hate the appointment.

The owner’s lobbed over £400m of his own dosh at it, he can pick who he wants, as he’s paid for the right to choose. It’s not like the ESL thing or anything like that, it’s just him picking a manager.

I think Rafa will surprise a lot of their fans. I can definitely see them in Europe within 3 years, wouldn't surprise me if he punts for the likes of Coutinho, Koulibaly etc.

Just my opinion that employing a former pool manager shows a lack of care towards the paying customers.

I personally think its a good appointment and that most the rafa hate comes from fans of the clubs that don't like Liverpool

He left 11 years ago and has since managed 2 other Premier league sides. They need to get over it.
