That'll do. Not gonna complain about winning the group without conceding a goal. Saka my motm, brought us a lot of energy and offered far more than Foden has so far.
Bring on Zee Germans!![]()
Offered more than Foden... Really? What did he do?

Clucking Hendo did quite well.
Brought energy and caused issues by being so direct. Played a big part in the goal too. What has Foden donr in two games so far?
I'd start with Saka and play on the break and then if we can nick a lead bring Foden on to try and keep the ball later on.
Apart from being England’s best player in the first two games and this being the weakest opposition we’ve played and we’d already qualified.
We’ve been watching different tournaments bro. Foden is on another planet to Saka.
We'll have to agree to disagree mate. Foden was as bad as anyone against the Jocks.
Saka on left where he plays naturally, Foden on the right. Job done. Both are class.
Would you start Saka ahead of him if we play Germany or France?

He’s not dropping Sterling Trebs.
No way is that happening, that would take Southgate out of his comfort zone, but I like the thinking.

I certainly want Saka to play. Foden clearly the better player but I think the game he's used to playing at City (pass, pass, pass while waiting for an opening) doesn't suit this England team. Think we need to be more direct and run at players a lot more which I've not seen him do a lot of so far.
Your best 11 players isn't necessarily the best team. Think he could be a brilliant option on the bench to bring on if we're defending a lead and need to try and keep the ball more. Nice to have options anyway.
Tbf if we play France I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter who we play![]()
I completely disagree, France are there to be beaten with players like Foden and Grealish to bother them, and Saka is a quality youngster but I’m not throwing him in against top opponents off the back of him running some no mark side around the pitch.
I’m not sure whether people truly appreciate what we’ve got in Foden, the kid is on a completely different planet technically to anything else in that squad, forget about tiki taka ****e, he walks into any team in the world. Any.
