Why do you say that? Was watched by Ramsden while playing for HGS back in the 70's. I'd scored 21 in 7 games and he came for a look. Didn't know anything about him at the time except he was the person to impress. Fortunately I played ****e and was never looked at again but did see him regularly when we played Schultz or Cooper. Fat **** did us all a favour jumping in front of the train. Only feel sorry for the driver.
Last episode is really heartbreaking John. A tough watch.
I wonder how many near misses a lot of us had when we were kids. Certainly Fred Ramsden was around and about city boys and Schultz youth club and school when I was a kid.
I played against Shultz when Pete Skipper and Paul oberg were playing.
I like Shultz, he was always my fav in Hogan's Heroes.
That was my first thought when I saw that misspelling.. Fat **** did us all a favour jumping in front of the train.Say what?

Because of that history, I would be very surprised if they didn't now have the most robust child safeguarding systems in the history of Scottish football.https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hull-city-dawson-joey-celtic-5545898
Given this particular club's history of child abuse, must be slightly concerning for Andy Dawson's family.

Strange move for Dawson’s lad. Surely he should have got him in here with us
And to counter that it’s in Glasgow! Horrible place horrible people and he’s english! No disrespect to us at all, but their youth set up, training /medical/education facilities etc are all light years ahead of us. Absolutely zero idea on it, but I'd expect the financials to be much more attractive to

I'm sure he wouldn't have gone if the family thought there was still a problem. At 18 it's a great time for him to be spreading his wings a bit, learn his trade away from the 'family business'. Could be a great experience for him.https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hull-city-dawson-joey-celtic-5545898

There's little or no chance of him getting first team football,he'll get farmed out to some of other lower league team and return to England wondering why he actually bothered coming up here?
As an update to that,I've just read the sports section in the Scottish Sun.It's a really strange move!!!

Nowhere near askew nowhere factamundo nearYeah, but there's a hell of lot of football knowledge in that family. Possibly even more than on this board?
