So funny if Luton got relegated this season I know you shouldn’t say something like that but **** it,
Normally I'd agree, but this is down to his personal preference due to wanting to be back in that area, he is earning less there then what we offered ( not a huge amount ) but quite a bit less then what Bristol offered him by all accounts.
Good luck to reece Burke Good pro who conducted himself well throughout his time here and a great loss to us But we move on now A warm round of applause and a sound beating next time we meet
Spot on. Seems like he values certain things more than money (like family). If so, good for him. I would have thought he could have done better than Luton though. Seems like he has his personal reasons for why them. I'm sorry to see him leaving us, but good luck to him.
If he has left for less money, then good luck to him. He's been a solid player for us ... I hope he comes out and thanks the club for giving him the chance to not disappear into obscurity as a player...
Just read that the blunts have released the hand-balling twat who pretty much relegated us in 2015, Jack Rodwell - apparently he's played an hour or so in the last eighteen months! Good work if you can get it, and he continually does ...
He came on for 15 minutes against Burnley in the 2019/20 season, they gave him another year last summer, then didn't play him at all. Very odd.
Really quiet out of 'our' club. Either **** chops is on holiday or else sale talks really are happening? 2 expected in early, so all we get is outgoings. #standardprocedure. There's nothing like having an advantage by winning promotion early, only to give the advantage away. Still early days. Blow my socks off (or even better, **** off).
I always thought he looked a good young prospect when he was at Everton - it's obviously gone wrong for him somewhere along the line.
Wigan look to have nicked Jack Whatmough, that's a very good signing for them and shows they've got a few quid this year. I'm delighted we're no longer in L1 as it looks a complete bastard of a league to get out of next year!
Martin Samuelsen is set to return to City this summer with Aalborg choosing against signing him permanently.
Why bring players in now? That's just increasing costs unnecessarily.... Pre season training doesn't start for ages.... Good job you don't run the club!
The signings that are agreed and announced now, don't actually start now, the transfer window isn't open and contracts generally run from July 1st to June 30th.
Typical first interview lines from a player, he isn't exactly going to say " i see this as a sideways move, but I just wanted to be close to friends and family". It's pretty much the same line/s you'll see from every players first interview at a new club.
Well, you never know. They finished a respectable12th last season and for all we know they might have plans which sound plausible.
It's definitely not a forward move, it's questionable that it's even sideways. Whilst they had a very good season, they've lost their top scorer, Collins, to Cardiff, Dewsbury-Hall had a good loan spell and he's gone back too. Adebayo is their big hope now and he did well after signing from L2. You look through their side and there's not much youth in there, so it's not like they're going to be able to sell somebody for a few £m and reinvest. On the flip side, we've got a team full of young players who are all still improving. Some will play in the PL without a shadow of a doubt.
