Chelsea were very effective, Kante was a beast, Christiansen was so solid after he came on, but for me Pep lost that for City with his tinkering lineup. 60 minutes of that game wasted for City.

Likewise.

Kante outstanding. Christiansen brilliant when he came on. Rudiger dominant. James had Sterling in his pocket.

But fair play to Tuchel. As I mentioned, tactically brilliant.

Sterling was totally ineffective .... if rumours are correct, that could be his last outing for City.
As far as Southgate is concerned - Mount and Foden very good, James and Chilwell good, Stones ok (but only alongside Dias which is a worry, Walker ok and Sterling not worth his place.

Strange that Sterling started tbh, same for Silva. Yes very good players when on form, but they are very much part of the City second team this season and have not been in form. Fernandinho is the type of player you need in a final IMO and not playing a holding mid meant playing one of their most effective attackers Gundogan in a more reserved role. It was not a balanced side from City, and that was reflected in their lack of possession and lack of good chances created compared to normal. Tuchel and Chelsea beating City twice recently really seems like it affected Pep and made him try something new which didn’t work. And then he was too slow to change it considering this was the Champions League final. Really disappointing from City and Pep to finally get to the Champions League final and then not perform in it.

Shame on them! You won't find Chelsea fans in Lancashire, so why so many in Hampshire when we have such great clubs in the County?

See, this used to bother me. I found myself initially really bothered by glory hunters, but as I've got older I feel sorry them really.

Imagine having no other affinity with your club other than seeing them on sky sports. Imagine the closest you get to seeing a game live is when your parents/Mrs has given you a red letter day experience tour of the stadium on a Tuesday morning. Imagine thinking that because you've blown £60 on a piece of polyester that you're part of the clubs history. Imagine pretending one of your parents were from Manchester/Liverpool/Madrid because you know people are judging you for supporting a club 100s of miles from home. Imagine being pissed off with being 2nd or 3rd in the league and "only" winning the Carling Cup

Now compare that with our club. The away games half way across the country with the lads for Exeter away on a Tuesday night. Seeing your team punch above their weight every now and again. Watching players breakthrough from the academy and making it into the 1st team. Knowing that no matter what game, if you pull some favours from your mates you'll be able to get tickets and be there to see it for yourself, as opposed to what Sky sports editors decide you're seeing.

Yeah we're unlikely to ever win anything. Wouldn't change it for the ****ing world.
