Definition of a plástic? If you live in Lancashire you are spoilt for choice. I would not say someone who lives in Chorley and supports Manchester United or Liverpool a plástic, as he or she is supporting a team from the región. However, someone living in Fareham, supporting any of the big six is is definitely a plástic, unless they originate from the pláce or región.

I do agree absolutely, but isn’t it funny - he lost a couple of times to Tuchel so changed his tactics. If he hadn’t, and lost again, would we have had the classic fan response of “he hasn’t got a plan B, why didn’t he change things?”

Yep, all depends on your definition of plastic. Mine? Someone who doesn’t really support a team &just latches onto a big 6. Think Lancs are more likely to choose Utd or City whereas south coast, could be any.

I wish our badge had a ship on it. One of the biggest ports in the country, proud history of shipbuilding, home port of the Mayflower and the Titanic. Without the port we would be a small insignificant town, instead of a middle-ish sized insignificant city.

It's the tall ship, "Tenacious", built in Hazel Road, Woolston for the Jubilee Sailing Trust in the late 90s by local shipbuilders including my dear Dad.
This was right at the end of his working life and he had a chance to work the traditional way with wood and using his old woodworking tools rather than the horrible fibre glass he worked with at Vosper Thornycroft for many years.

This video has an explanation of our current badge although I believe the two blue wavy lines represents the number of daily tides rather than the docks.

That would work for me; an absolute beauty of a vessel. Just silhouette that with 'Southampton FC' underneath. Never been a fan of the tree/scarf/football combo. The rose is fine, as are the waves, but sh*te otherwise. Definitely needs a revamp.

I thought the blue lines represented the river Itchen and Test?

Beautiful, simply stunning. The last wooden ship left afloat I believe?

Here she is showing off pretty much all her array of sails, with courses, topsails, upper and lower topgallants, royals on fore- and mainmasts.

I’d be very much in favour of her being on our badge, and if possible playing in goal as well.
