I don't believe there has ever been a full-time driver to finish at the back of the pack in every race they completed (by which I mean that I looked up Taki Inoue's results and he didn't manage the feat, so I presume no one else has). Marzipan has a real shot. It'd likely take mechanical trouble for Schumacher or Latifi in order for a driver to be slower than him.

Outrageous. Another crooked Russian billionaire .... the lad shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near a F1 car - he’s a liability. Sadly, what can they do? If they drop him places in the next race it won’t make any difference - he’ll still be last ....

Hes also bloody lucky that penalty points are not carried over . He was on 11 last year in F2 !

I am surprised that last weekend's festival of pony and track racing along the A33 did not get any coverage on in this message board. Very disappointing too as the Hampshire Chronicle's coverage of the event did include the results either. I see that a return fixture has been arranged for later on in June. Shame that the local residents and car drivers in mid-Hants felt unable to join in with the enthusiasm for these more traditional sporting events which continues to see the county as a Mecca for the racing fraternity. Hopefully the Hampshire Constabulary will not feel compelled to be kill-joys either and let drivers wishing to travel between Winchester and Basingstoke try to disrupt this regular fixture which must be one of highlights in the sporting calendar for our friends in Tadley. We should not let a little thing like Covid disrupt was is effectively a heritage event - the A33 being the Wembley for pony and trap racing in this country. BBC pay attention! Please put the races on our screens and do not concentrate on the minor disturbances amongst the spectators which has the effect of putting them in a very bad light.
