Not sure that's true tbf mate. Not that I care like, people can do what they want but I thought travel in and out was still banned.
It is if the visit is 'essential' ... picked up daughter from Cardiff Uni yesterday (term finished) then on down to mother-in-law who is wheelchair bound to do various jobs around her house ... fitted electric blinds in her kitchen, fixed leak above bay window and put up shelves in her adapted downstairs bedroom... we deliberately combined the two things ... plus we notified the local social care before coming ... they come in 5 times a day ... all approved and kosha ... but also a huge relief for the other half to see her mum, admittedly ...

Fair play mate. Like I say I'm not really bothered what people do either way![]()
cool
what did you have for dinner.
Yeah it's been tough glad that you're wife got to see her mum. We've taken it all very seriously coz the missus is in the highest vulnerability category... it has been hard on her not seeing her mum throughout but we wouldn't have risked it .. . the old girl is now doubled jabbed and we have all had the first one (apart from the youngest) ... even so we are keeping the old girl at a distance ... just in case

I personally wouldn't have gone to the lengths you did with getting approval and all that. People generally know what's right from wrong and can be sensible with it imo.
Bet it's good for your other half to see her mum after all this time though.
i'm sad mate. been a horrible year, and i admire your commitment and struggle. The old girl has a double aneurysm on the brain ... one burst leaving her paralysed down the right side ... now gets around in an electric wheelchair... literally has a time bomb ticking in her noggin ... so every moment is precious for the missus. The old girl was in a semi coma for nigh on 12 months barely able to say words ... but the brain (and body) is a truly remarkable thing ... now has all her faculties back ... literally improved day by day until she is where she is now ... but if the other one goes that will be it.

believe in your instincts mate. You're OK. You can be a tit at times but we all can. I have a sneaky suspicion that you would step up to help out if it was ever required .. but I might not be the best judge, of course.![]()

Good morning.
So always a well rounded and sensible discussion on here religion.
So not too start a big argument I'm more interested in have you ever read the Bible cover to cover or the Quran or any other text?

Recently purchased, because I like the look of it and thought that I should read it all seeing as it's quite a famous book.
Not a big fan of religion. Too much pain and death involved. The pain and death is there pretty much to keep the plebs in order. Not a fan.Read the Quran in English and Arabic
Read about 62% of the bible

I also have this but haven't got around to reading it, might do that next.
