Thought it would be best to let you get a few totally uninformed “THIS IS WHY I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG” posts in, you ridiculous little gnome.

You're getting so much wrong now, with regards to the EU and their handling of the vaccine roll out, that you resort to throwing out insults and wind ups.
You're an embarrassment.

as we are all individuals our reactions to the vaccination are going to differ, sadly for some this could be fatal. However do the people that sadly pass have any underlying health issue which could be a contributory factor, or be allergic to any of the ingredientt? (I am not for one moment suggesting thatt his is acceptable but if the virus contnues without ay potential vaccine, surely we the human race could kill itself off?) With the way in which the virus has taken hold, surely providing a vaccination that reduces the chance of catching the virus is better than not?

Now this is really suspicious and odd, but not in the way you are thinking Oslo.

So 5 or 6 young women have died of the same strange symptoms ....blood clot in the presence of low platelets...in the same hospital.
Young women, not usually susceptible to blood clots..
Remember not all blood clots are fatal...where are the non fatal cases

Platelets, take a time to decrease, the deaths seem a bit quick to see platelet count reduction

Low platelets usually mean inability to clit...not an increase in blood clots.

All given the jab in the same hospital...not anywhere else that is giving the same batch of vaccine. ( Batches are actually very large with thousands and thousands of shots from each batch).

From what you have said Oslo, this is looking more to do the hospital rather than the vaccine
I have not heard anywhere it is limited to young women Beth, nor to any one hospital, even in Norway.

I got the impression that the 2 who died yesterday were already included in the people previously reported as being in serious condition in hospital with these unusual blood symptoms after taking the AZ vaccine. But it's not specific to Norway, think I have posted earlier some of the other Countries reporting the same symptoms with deaths, including 5 in the UK. Sweden has since reported similar. German specialists had come to the same conclusions as the Norwegians about the AZ vaccine causing it. Statistically there aren't so many people getting these problems happily, but it has obviously been pretty terrible for the few who have. It will be good if they can find out more on why, and if there are any links between the people getting this condition, and to the batches of vaccine they got, though I read somewhere it was not limited to any one batch.
it seems the death rate in Norway is a bit different to anywhere else, on fewer people vaccinated. It’s very odd indeed.

It’s always more fun when you put your big boy pants on and try to have a go back.

The embarrassing thing is the grimly predictable reporting in this country of this and people just kneeling down and swallowing it as ever. The bloc nor individual EU countries owe us anything given our behaviour. If the roles were reversed we’d understandably be going mental if UK production was going elsewhere to countries exporting nothing themselves. We’d have The Express demanding the invasion of Holland and the same people groomed by them and similar media for decades would be cheering for it. Barely a mention of the massive supply lag from India but then that can’t be conflated with anything.

More bollocks from the juvenile delinquent.

The EU are threatening to illegally block exports of the vaccine produced in European factories.
What are our actions that deserve this, apart from voting for Brexit obviously? These are AZ vaccines that the British tax payer funded and British scientists developed.
We ensured early supply chains while the EU dithered.
EU leaders have criticised the AZ vaccine since day one, costing lives, simply because they can't stand our post-brexit success.
This dis-information has caused Europe to have massive stock piles of un-used vaccines.
Meanwhile a third wave is starting across Europe.

They're acting as childishly as you, whilst costing lives.

Still, you carry on blindly defending them, you idiot.

At least you’re not resorting to insults.

They’re potentially going to trigger an existing clause. Their gripe is understandably with a manufacturer, not with us, or they wouldn’t have exported 10m doses here, a country with more vaccines ordered than it needs. You can stomp your feet as much as you want but I’m just calling it as I see it. Both the UK and EU have played a shameful role in delaying the worldwide rollout of vaccines and we’ll only be back to some serious normality when that is achieved.

Tell me more about our post-Brexit success though.

If the shoe had been on the other foot, it would have been 'f22k the UK'. We would have had few blaming Brexit. However, our vaccine rollout has been fab and most of the outspoken voices have had to shut up. You may get a few fanatics trying to defend the commission but I think most people (plenty in the EU as well) know that they have made a complete cock up of it. Today Boris held out an olive branch to calm things down and hopefully the commission may see sense. No point in a vaccine war because that will only cost lives. It does teach us one thing, that was mentioned in the house recently... we need to get industry back here and be more self sufficient so we don't need to really on others so much.

I blame Brexit for our ludicrously high death rate....

I don’t really. I blame the government.

Beth/SB, I have just read some detail of what they are looking for in Norway, including a lot of technical detail about immune responses and blood platelets you will no doubt understand better than me, nearer the bottom of the article. It's originally in Norwegian but maybe your devices can translate it to English if you are interested, I can choose English or Norwegian on mine. Go to vg.no, and scroll down until you see a nearly bald grey haired bloke under which is the headline "mistenkte AstraZenica bivirkninger, de viktigste sporene" and click on that.

The article at top of their website right now is about a 54 year old voluntary health worker who was one of the 2 who died yesterday.

Got a link mate? I’m not a proper expert on this stuff, I’m just confused as to why there seem to be these clusters in certain places.

I did a statistic course a month ago that explained why clusters appear to occur....which basically says " they don't" we just perceive that they do... No you are right, I didn't understand it..

But then my hubby got me listening to a radio 4 program
called "sideways" with Mathew Syed...The second episode was about av woman who was convicted of murdering her 3 children who had apparently died of cot death. She was convicted on the basis that statistically the chances were absolutely astronomical that all 3 had died of cot death..so had to be murder.

In fact at least two had an underlying heart condition...and the statistics were irrelevant, there was no cluster, there was an explanation.

There is always an explanation.

I am not explaining this well, but what what I am saying, is there will be an explanation

I will try and read the Norwegian report tomorrow

Stan Oslo.
March 18th BMJ...

Reporting on 37 cases of death/ serious disease with blood clots and low platelets in over 19 million vaccinations.

In UK there are at least 3000 blood clots a month, EU nearer 100,000....as someone said...the frequency is actually lower than the norm.

The article surmises
The risk factor is young women who are taking the combination oral contraceptive... ( Some contraceptives are known to have this as a risk factor)

They are further investigating the actual contraceptive ,( is it a particular one) these women are taking.

That may be the answer

Dear beth/Vern
Which is better
The AZ or Pfizer
We have 10 million doses of Pfizer on the way

Both are excellent Kiwi...just take what ever one you are offered. If you delay to get the other one, you could get Covid!

Either vaccine will stop you getting really ill and dying.
