I've heard of teams winning twelve or so games in a row, but when was the last time we won six league games in a row? Now is the time to go on a run, hhhhaaawwwwwaaaaaayyyyyyyy the lads.
Correction, It was 8 in a row starting with Bradford (a) on 6th Oct and ending when we drew at home to Wycombe 17th Nov Best run since then was 5 in a row at the start of last season just before Jack Ross was sacked
5 in a row in the league 1st season down and 3 in a row at the start of last. We need a decent run in the league
If we're capable, despite all the injuries, of hammering teams like Doncaster and Lincoln we've no excuse for not winning against Burton. I keep seeing teams being built up as 'the form team' and unstoppable but we're not too bad ourselves. We've lost fewer games than anyone, scored one less than the top team and only conceded two more. All that's been missing is that steely-eyed nasty streak where we don't back down to anyone. I saw that after Lincoln scored and that's crucial imo.
And then there were three... First time this season. Hhhhaaawwwwwaaaaaayyyyyyyy the lads. Onwards to Crewe ha'way
phew...a couple more quick wins could put us right back in the mix...as @Smug said, we keep playing 'in form' teams that we are told to be wary of yet we keep picking the points up, some we have played off the pitch (usually followed by a bad performance against a 'lower' team) but i also see a difference in the team now, that hunger is back, the draws heading to a distant memory, fewer losses than those around us, 2nd highest scorers and improving...dare to believe yet?
